Independence of any manufacturer

With the implementation of IPM you are no longer determined to one producer/supplier for devices or data! But: you gain independence.
That means, that you can make an analysis of a device (for bolt connections, …) supplied by company A with a system that also enables an analysis of device B. So costs are reduced, because you have free choice of equipment suppliers.
The data transfer from the devices is done by either the IPM standard telegram, which already support many manufacturers (link to manufacturer) or by other formats like QS-Stat and XML.
IPM also offers an universal interface that can process any telegram format. So only a matrix is created with IPM, that defines which context has to be put at which place of the system. So the manufacturers don’t have to transfer the data in the IPM telegram format.
